BALSAM GHUT, Tortola, VI- A visitor to Her Majesty’s Prison in Balsam Ghut, Tortola, was on June 21, 2021, charged with Possession of a Controlled Drug.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, Glenville Callwood, 26, allegedly had 23 grams of marijuana while visiting an inmate at the prison.

Mr Callwood, according to senior police sources, had visited HMP to deliver food to a male prisoner when he was allegedly found with the illegal item during inspection.

    @The watchet “ so what if he’s Super Cop Mr. Callwood son? That means he should be a saint? Parents try really hard to do their best. A parent can only do so much. It’s all on the individuals at some point on in life. He could have been the son is the King of Nazareth he still make his own decision. Don’t trash Mr. Callwood aka Super Cop. What the son did was wrong and should be punished for committing the illegal act.

      He Mr callwood should of known which is more important instill n the values in his child 2 avoid him from go n on that path or he gain n the reputation that he have as a super strict person who live by & uphold the law.

    This is @Jokers comment. You can’t be serious! I’m so so sick of you people trying to pull that card. Do your research. I showed my boys stories about many many people who became successful in life even though they had a really bad childhood. The problem in Tola is we are spoiling our children too much!!! Many of them are lazy and rude! They expect things to fall in their Laps. They want nice things, but don’t want to work hard. I guess you have that same mentality as well. You’ll just want to find excuses and settle. Come out of that foolishness. Do your research on a lot of these successful people and you will see how they fought to beat the odds, to keep on going no matter what. Many of their stories are so powerful. So don’t just watch the rappers and sports players etc. research them to see their story and you might be surprised. So don’t talk no crap on here. A lot of you need to find God instead of excuses!!!

    This is nothing new it has been going on for donkey years by both police, prison guards and visitors alike. They only arrested Glen, because security has beefed up after the recent murder of Nikki Chanbers.

    For the people in the comments who bugging out over this weed being brought to the prison issue. This been going on since the 70s. Alcohol, Cannabis and a plethora of other narcotics have been brought inmates through vistors and GUARDS. Stop acting like this something new. He will learn and we will move on
