ORANJESTAD, St Eustatius- The Virgin Islands national netball team, Ursulas, departed the territory on Monday, October 20, 2025, for the Battle of the Isles netball tournament, which begins at the Earl N. Merkman Sports Auditorium in Oranjestad, St Eustatius (Statia) today, Tuesday, October 21, 2025.

The Virgin Islands will get into action on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, against Canada at 9:15 AM, and then against St Eustatius from 5:00 PM.

Upcoming games for VI netballers

Ursulas will also face Guadeloupe, Bermuda and St Maarten in the days to follow.

Battle of the Isles, slated for October 21-26, 2025, is being hosted by St Eustatius and St Maarten, in collaboration with World Netball & Americas Netball.

The games will take place from Tuesday to Thursday, after which the teams will head over to St Maarten to continue the tournament.

The games are expected to be three action-packed days featuring top-tier teams from around the world, fierce competition, and the unbreakable spirit of Netball.

The first game to kick off the event will feature Statia against Canada, starting at 9:00 PM.
