Considering these Islands' over the top health issues attributed to obesity and the burgeoning strain on our medical facilities and Healthcare ,I am of the opinion,we should be promoting healthy looking bodies as the ideal.

Healthy by your standards? Have you seen her heath card ? Stop being judgemental with your cookie cutter mentality. A healthy body does not mean a skinny body.

Black women bodies should not be put into the same categories for "healthy" bodies as other races. The black woman comes in all shapes and sizes which do not mean healthy or unhealthy.

Congratulations Mrs. Globe for a job well done. Ignore those who can not offer a compliment or celebrate your achievement. There will always be this type, no matter what you do.

Being overweight does not disriminate. Black / White / Asian / Hispanic / Gay / Straight / Transgender it does not matter. If you are overweight you will more likely face health issues. It's not being judgemental to say that someone is probably not looking great when being overweight and it shouldn't be promoted.

Fat and fit does not exist.

These comments right here are prime examples of what would discourage anybody to want to represent their country!! Before y’all congratulate the young lady for her accomplishment and achieving an award that no other pageant contest has done in the past when they go international, you here nit picking oh is this contest valid, oh she look tired, oh her head going swell! My gosh is truly sickening that your own people would rather tear you down limb by limb. The question is, if YOU went would YOU have won? Congrats Sophia! You represented your country well! Enjoy your year as Mrs Curve Globe!

This is amazing! She did a great job! What’s crazy the said people who was doubting her are the same ones how wishing her congratulations. She represented the Virgin Islands positively well. Miss CRJ don’t have a percentage of what it takes to be a percentage of the woman Sophie is. Let’s see if CRJ have the testicles to swallow her saliva and wish Sophie all the best!!!

@amazing You well know C***y ain’t going to wish Rubaine no congratulations. Stop focusing on a person who hate themselves let’s celebrate this amazing woman who represented Sophie in a major way. This called for a motorcade.

Congratulations to you Sophia Rubaine for being the first BRITISH VIRGIN ISLANDER to win an International pageant title. Despite the naysayers you have made history in the BVI and internationally. I know it feels a bit discouraging to read the thread and see people in your own country saying such negative remarks about your accomplishment but I want you to rise above them, embrace your title, reign with elegance, stay humble and remember, from the day you won the tittle, whenever you type in google who won Mrs Curve Globe 2021, your name will show up. That’s big!
