I’m confident we’ll play hard- Manager

Team Manager Mr Cramman called it an honour to lead what he described as a talented group of players and coaches.

“We've had a very good camp, and I'm confident that we'll play hard every pitch. We know that we'll have to beat some very talented and well-coached ballclubs, and we're excited as a group to answer that call.”

Performance Director Gary Anderson added, “Our age group programmes, including the players at the U23 European Championship, are essential to our Olympic qualification strategy.”

The programmes, he added, provide critical opportunities for player development and international experience, aligning with the club’s core philosophy of ensuring that they are the best prepared that they can be.

Great Britain will play in their first game in Pool B in Třebíč against Israel today, Tuesday, August 5. First pitch is scheduled for 10:00 CEST/09:00 BST. Great Britain will then play Czechia, the host team, on Wednesday, August 6, at 19:30 CEST/18:30 BST and will wrap up group play against France on 7 August at 10:00 CEST/09:00BST.

I hope you strike out every at bat, fumble every catch, get a fast ball thrown at your ribs and get kicked out the game.
