Virtuous women of the Bible to be portrayed @'pageant-like' show

This event will be held at the Sea Cows Bay Methodist Church at 6:00 PM.
Karia J. Christopher, the chairperson of the event, said the goal is to learn more about the Bible and have fun doing it.
"It's going to take the form of a pageant, but it's not a pageant. We'll have four women vying for a crown, and these women will be taking the women characters from the Bible and really personifying that character throughout the entire showcase.’’
Christopher is hopeful that the showcase will have a positive, lasting impact. She added that the event is expected to be entertaining and family-friendly, with a Christian foundation, and it proudly represents the Methodist community.
"The purpose is really to learn more about the Bible, and not only having a great time and learning, but leaving saying, huh, it's really good that reading the Bible and learning more of the Bible can be fun, it can be interesting, and we hope for people to look at, just learning more of the Bible, learning more about these females of the Bible, and finding different ways to really spread the word of God, and bringing souls closer to Christ."
The 4 'Ambassadors'
Meanwhile, Dr Nikki Rubaine-Connell, the ambassador coordinator, stated that the event will feature four ambassadors, each portraying a different woman from the Bible.
Ambassador #1 is Mrs Phillipa Barry, who will be portraying Hannah. Ambassador #2 is Mrs Messena Vanterpool-Pompey, who will be portraying Deborah. Ambassador #3 is Ms Tammi T. David, who will be portraying Miriam. Ambassador #4 is Mrs Portia S. Stout, who will be portraying Mary, the mother of Jesus.
Dr Rubaine-Connell added, "These women are going to be giving you a representation of their inspiring woman from the Bible, through costumes, storytelling, talent, and poise."
She continued, "We wanted to bring the Bible in an exciting way, so the ladies will be depicting their character and introduction. They'll be doing a talent pertaining to their character, a character wear showcase, and a question-and-answer [session]. In the talent, the talent must be relevant to their character, and if you want to think about how the character would be dressed, we've given them the inspiration of an elegant interpretation of what your character would wear to dinner with our Lord and Saviour. So, they have free will to be as creative as they would love to be."
