We are always reaching and ready to claim people when it's positive, whether athletics, entertainment or otherwise. If she was locked up for committing a crime we would say she is not from the BVI.

For most of the period of Noel's life he lived in the BVI as a dog and even those who were close to him walked over him. He and Lindy did not get the respect they deserve until they were made their exit out of here. My days growing up and did not know then what I know now and he was marked as crazy. No one dignified his life and while he was up and around nobody taught about him in school. Only om his dying bed a set of so called dignatires came up here to the U.S to take a picture with him at his bedside and give him a basket of fruits. No place like BVI

Whether the woman is from here or not from here, whether she has a Spanish last name or not ... whether she is black or white ... let's all be proud of her and wish her well. Please do not use this opportunity to tear others down. Be blessed!! Show some love.

Even with her father having been born in Huntums Ghut, and her mother's family hailing from the ninth district, she still doesn't qualify as a UK Virgin Islander, eh?

    WOW!
