ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The tape ball cricket competition organised by the Jamaica Cricket Club of the Virgin Islands belonged to arch-rivals Cavaliers and Vikings with the latter claiming sweet victory over the more seasoned Cavaliers yesterday March 12, 2012 at the Festival Ground.

Cavaliers, who had defeated Jamaica Cricket Club in the semi-final, made 107 from 10 overs batting first in the final with Quacy Sinclair top scoring with 36 and all rounder Aaron Baker making 26. Vaden Walker and Govin Singh had two wickets apiece.

Vikings had a slight spot of bother in their reply when they lost the capable Govin Singh early but Walker and Richard Fredericks held the innings together while attacking the bowlers to add entertainment to the decent crowd on hand to witness the championship match.

Fredericks fell by the run out route when on 20 but skipper Walker continued with some exquisite shots to see his team home although it was Sushant Yadav who struck the winning run to repeat similar efforts in the semi-final game when he also hit the winning runs in Vikings defeat of the St. Vincent Cricket Club.

Vikings won the championship match by two wickets and three balls to spare and received a beautiful trophy and two cases of Coors Light for their achievement.

The cricket competition was part of a fun day organised by the Jamaica Cricket Club of the Virgin Islands.

So why don't you come to find out rather than running your stupid mouth. Nobody stopping you or anybody to play anything. And yes of course Johnny was there but I guess you were too scared to meet him so u had to tuck behind the comfort of your computer and trying to stir up nonsense...coward!
