ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI - The Virgin Islands and the United Nations System have officially signed a Country Implementation Plan (CIP) that will serve as the framework for development cooperation between the BVI and the UN system on an annual basis.

Premier and Minister of Finance, Hon Andrew A. Fahie (R1) and United Nations (UN) Resident Coordinator for the Eastern Caribbean, Mr Didier Trebucq, signed the CIP at a virtual signing ceremony held on August 17, 2021.

According to a release on the initiative, the CIP framework translates into specific plans for development cooperation at the country level and is the UN’s offer to better serve Small Island Developing States (SIDS) as they strive to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) by 2030.

Several priority areas for VI

The priority areas for cooperation in the VI include supporting COVID-19 response and recovery to ensure no one is left behind in the near to medium-term, in addition to Strengthening economic resilience with a focus on repositioning Micro, Small, and Medium-sized Enterprises (MSMEs) for opportunities in the blue economy.

The CIP will also move to explore the strengthening of integrated planning for long-term sustainable development to achieve the SDGs by 2030 and Improving access to sustainable development financing for building climate resilience and conservation of marine and terrestrial biodiversity and local social development.

The CIP will also look at strengthening policy coordination and implementation to support the effective delivery of public services.

CIP is 'pivotal moment' in VI/UN relationship  - Premier

Why wasn't the citizens of the BVI asked if they wanted to have Premier sign this United Nations System Country Implementation Plan (CIP). We know the UN is evil, and a party The World Economic Forum with Bill Gates to bring the great RE SET and forced jabs and c19 fear porn and population control aka genocide. "Agenda 2030", Davos Plan, "you'll own nothing and be happy."

LOL this same man always talking about SLAVE MASTERS. . . lol, well BVI gone to the ultimate SLAVE MASTERS WITH THE STROKE OF HIS PEN. Now we know why all the jab pressure. Does this UN establishment know about the current COI taking place in the territory, we won’t receive a dollar from them until we get a clean bill of health.

We will be paying them. Normally .7% of every dollar earned by everyone in the country. Then they will give us “grants” but tell us how to spend them. They seem to be big into gender studies these days. I personally don’t think there is a gender problem here. I’m not sure what they hope to accomplish. They want to restrict air travel for sure. Not sure how that plays into VI tourism as a pillar of the economy. Hmmm
