VI U17 footballers suffer back-to-back defeats in Florida

BRADENTON, Florida, USA- The [British] Virgin Islands U17 footballers have lost their first two games in the CONCACAF U17 Championship in Florida, USA.

The Virgin Islands (VI) opened their campaign against Bermuda on August 30, 2022, at the IMG Academy in Bradenton, losing 0-4.

Next up was against Bonaire on Thursday, September 1, 2022.

The VI put up a more spirited challenge but were unfortunate to be edged out 1-2.

Johnny Jay Rowe was the lone goal scorer for the Virgin Islands, who will be in action against The Bahamas on Saturday, September 3, 2022.
