ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Dominica has agreed to grant the Virgin Islands (VI) with 2000 doses of the AstraZeneca COVID-19 vaccines for immediate distribution.

This comes through an arrangement with the Organization of Eastern Caribbean States (OECS), where they negotiated on behalf of the VI, for the vaccines to be received in the territory over the weekend.

The announcement of the vaccine grant was made by Minister for Health and Social Development, Hon Carvin Malone (AL) on yesterday, March 5, 2021, and comes as the arrival of the second batch of UK sponsored AstraZeneca jabs have been delayed from March 3 to March 17, 2021.

Vaccine doses welcomed - VI Gov't

Given the timely donation, the VI government called the vaccine grant from Dominica ‘good news’ as the territory will now be able to continue smoothly with its public vaccination programme.

Hon Malone in a statement said coupled with the vaccine arrivals from the UK, “the BVI vaccine rollout will now be in a better position to continue to vaccinate the BVI Public, thereby allowing our economy to continue to move from strength to strength.”

Hon Malone further expressed gratitude on behalf of the people of the territory to the Government of Dominica, the OECS Member States, the Director-General and all the members of the OECS Commission for the timely grant.

Watching to see which Caribbean leader will make the first brave and courageous steps to open up their country,. It takes one to start,. But that leader must have heart, guts and balls,. America is opening Up state by state by courageous leaders Ignoring corrupt doctors,. We all know that CDC members and CAGHA members taking money under the table to push somebody:s agenda,. Won't be surprised if later down we hear these test kits are manipulated to produce positive results,,I am very suspicious that when ever a country try to open up and doing well, All of a sudden they have shut down, case on the increase,, They go as far as calling natural Death Covid death,. All in the name of money,,, People:s lives and lively hood has been sacrifice and compromise all because of couruption, people are talking Big money Under the table,,,,, Open the place people get wise, get courageous, fight the corrupt. System,,,,

The UK not really heñping the BVI and the OTs with supplying some vaccines while leaving millions in the UK to suffer. The UK is playing a public relation game to try to fool the world that they care about us so they can look good to the world to forward their Global Britan plans and campaign.

We need the extra vaccine because our government does not truly know when the next supply from UK will get here and according to their own press release in their great wisdom (???) nearly 5,000 persons have received the first shot and will be needing a second one. We only got 8,000 from UK simple math 4,000 x 2. = 8,0000 so where are the extra neary 1,000 going to get the second shot if the supply from UK is further delayed?

Where is the pride of the Virgin Islander? Not all handouts are good. Don't turn your backs on those with clandestine plans for this nation.

Why BVI picking up vaccines from all over the place buddy? Hurricane Irma didn’t wipe us out but surely there’s a conspiracy with these vaccines to do so. STAY WOKE BVI!
