VI Team in Nicaragua for CONCACAF U20 Football Championships

MANAGUA, Nicaragua- The [British] Virgin Islands Under-20 Men’s National Team is in Nicaragua for the Concacaf Under-20 Championship Qualifiers to be played at the Estadio Nacional De Nicaragua in Managua.

The VI boys will play the hosts in their first match on Friday, February 23, 2024.

The national team departed these shores via Terrance B. Lettsome International Airport on Saturday morning, February 17, 2024, and landed in Nicaragua on Sunday afternoon after overnighting in the Dominican Republic.

The VI is in Group A, which includes Nicaragua, Belize, Cuba, and Anguilla.

After a round-robin first round, the first-place team from each group will advance to the championship.

The Concacaf Under-20 Championship Qualifiers will take place between February 23 and March 2, 2024.
