VI swimmers capture 2 silver & 1 bronze @ OECS Championships in SVG

RATHO MILL, St Vincent & The Grenadines- The Virgin Islands have struck two silver medals and a bronze at the 33rd OECS Swimming Championships in St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Evelyn Freeman, who made her debut at this year's championships, and Naya Bissoondutt won silver in their respective divisions, while Arun Bissoonduutt collected a bronze at the Shrewsbury Aquatic Centre in Ratho Mill on November 8, 2025.

Freeman achieved a podium finish in the 9-10 Girls 50m Breaststroke. She clocked 43.68 seconds for second place, chopping 0.70 off her previous time.

Naya Bissoondutt finished second in the Girls 8 & Under 25m Backstroke, with a time of 21.33 seconds. She cut her previous best time by 0.80 seconds.

Arun Bissoondutt placed third in the 9-10 Boys 50m Backstroke. His time was 39.39 seconds, taking 0.21 off his previous mark.

The championships wrap up today, Sunday, November 9, 2025.
