ROSEAU, Dominica- The [British] Virgin Islands have found the going very tough at the CONCACAF U15 Championships in Dominica, suffering heavy back-to-back defeats in the group stage.

The team coached by Cassandra Gregg and captained by Mario Carter lost 0-5 to Turks & Caicos Islands on Tuesday, August 8, 2023.

The VI then came up against Dominica on Wednesday, August 9, 2023, and were able to get on to the scoresheets but Dominica ran out 5-1 winners.

Latriel Williams netted the consolation goal for the VI.

The last time the Championship was held, back in 2019, the VI won Division C, which made them the top seed in their group for the 2023 tournament.

The other teams in the tournament include Sint Marten, St Vincent and the Grenadines, USVI, French Guiana, Anguilla, and Saint Maarten.

    Good luck to the team.
Questions - how was the squad picked? Are these the best players available from the schools league? Where are the players from Cedar? Why the lack of diversity?

How can the BVIFA continue to mismanage the selection of player by picking player who have not trained for a year. The administration should be ashamed.

The entire BVIFA needs a flush starting with the General Secretary. There are too many incapable people in the midst. The current coach lacks skills and she inot capable of training this age group but she won't let them go. Picking a team 1 week before they travel is ridiculous but yet it continues to happen.

This group of boys has the skills but needs a proper coach, let's start there.
