TRELLIS BAY, Beef Island, VI - Both tourists and residents alike had plenty of options for places to ring in the New Year in a vibrant and festive atmosphere.

There was nothing short of entertainment, including at popular places like Foxy’s Tamarind Bar on Jost van Dyke, Trellis Bay Market, Bar & Grill on Beef Island and Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park in Road Town, Tortola.

The legendary Foxy’s

One of the legendary spots to usher in the New Year was, of course, on Jost van Dyke at Foxy’s Tamarind Bar, where hundreds flocked to party on the beach.

Foxy’s offered a long line-up of international artists, including the man regarded as the King of Soca in the Greater Virgin Islands, Pumpa.

Other entertainers included Mishka, a Bermudian musician and singer/songwriter; Jazzique Chiverton, commonly referred to as Golden Fingers for his skill on the keyboard, and his band Greenhouse Band, a vibrant Top 40-driven ensemble based in St Kitts and Nevis; the only all-female DJ crew- LIPS International; and The Housewives of St John, a band out of St John, US Virgin Islands.

Trellis Bay Market, Bar & Grill

Another favourite place to welcome the New Year is Trellis Bay Market, Bar and Grill, which offers a fireworks display at midnight and attracts many attendees to view it.

Keeping the party vibe going at the beachside venue were Selector Taz, VG Tyga, Boss and Mac Milli.

The party was complemented by a fire show and moko jumbies.

CB Romney Tortola Pier Park

What is quickly becoming a staple for New Year's Eve celebrants is the Cyril B. Romney Tortola Pier Park.

This year’s activities were held under the theme, ‘All That Glitters’.
On The Lawn, the entertainment was provided by DJ Carly, Ova Drive, Signal Band and VIBE.

On the ‘Grown & Lit’ Luxury Deck, patrons partied to the entertainment of DJ Dre, Razor Blades, Klimaxx Band, and Extreme Band.

2026 was also welcomed with fireworks at the Pier Park.

These were just some of the many places in the Virgin Islands where 2026 was rung in, party style!

As the clock struck midnight, fireworks lit up the Virgin Islands sky, including at Paradise Club in Cane Garden Bay, Peter Island and several places on Virgin Gorda.
