  Its been years now since rumors went around that rabbit died in St. Martin. If he had come back to Tortola people would be running...Lord look ah jumbie. When I heard this morning I was contradicting the person saying Rabbit died years ago. Boy Rabbit you pulled a fast one on everybody. I can remember back in the 80s when you were in prison on old main street another guy was beating you for weed. You were both standing at the gate by the street. I stopped my car and inquired why y'all were fighting. When I was told it was because of weed I gave y'all a portion and told you to chill. People refer to Balsam Ghut as a hotel but old main street was the real deal. That was real BVI Love as prisoners would go and come as they wished. BVI was a mystical magical place that left visitors in awe. Sorry we lost it. Anyway rest in peace my brother you will always be remembered as a true legend.

  I would imagine many of you have no idea who this man was. He was the son of Carlton de Castro a master seaman. Carlton de Castro along with Theodolph Faulkner and Glanny Fonseca were the leaders of the Great March of 1949 that we now celebrate as a holiday. Carlton de Castro was responsible for bringing hundreds of persons from all over the Caribbean free of charge on his cargo vessels including The Tiny Lou, The Tropic Star and others. As a youngster and his neighbor I had my fill of oranges, bananas, plantains and other fruits, vegetables and provision that he brought back from his trips to the Eastern Caribbean. People like Leslie deCastro, Lambert de Castro, Sonny de Castro, Frances, Mary, Rosemary and Yvette de Castro are some of his brothers and sisters. Rabbit was Dirk Walters of Xtreme Band uncle. To make a long story short Rabbit was one ah we whether he was born on Nevis or on Mars. If I begin to relate who came here on Rabbit's father boats many of you will be shocked. The best thing we can do is respect each other and live in love and unity no matter where you come from. Once again condolences to the family and hope this puts an end to the senseless negative comments.

  I met Rabbit thru a friend in St Maarten.
  Rabbit was a father brother uncle son cousin and friend to many. I got this news on my birthday. When I would go to VI he would always take care of me. I spent one of my birthdays down there in December 2012 and before he brought me airport I had to take some drinks with him or he wouldn’t take me airport. And when he came SXm everyone would love him and praise him. A blessed man that was.
  We lost communication as I moved to USA but some how he got my number and was texting me.
  1 thing I can say is that Rabbit was a changed man. In his last days while speaking to him he gave his life to over to Christ and asked for forgiveness for all he has done. And would text me daily for his devotion he said with out A mans prayer with out God we are nobody.
  I am hurt to see my friend died but happy to know I was talking to him in his last days and got him to repent and got saved. People always tend to stomp on the dead by trying to degrade them.
  Rabbit always helped people. So please look deep down inside yourselves and ask God to forgive y’all for your trespasses.
