VI remains under 3-hour curfew

- curfew extended to February 25, 2021

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- The Virgin Islands will remain under a 3-hour curfew until February 25, 2021, according to a new Curfew Order signed by Governor John J. Rankin, CMG on February 10, 2021, and published in the Official Gazette the same day.

The Imposition of a Curfew Order (No.3), 2021, came into force today, February 11, 2021 at 2:00 am.

According to the Order (no.3), 2021 the curfew is for the purposes of controlling, suppressing or preventing the spread of COVID-19 and for the protection of all persons within the Territory.

The Order is valid until Thursday, February 25, 2021.

The Virgin Islands currently has 8 recorded active cases of COVID-19, according to the latest update by Government on February 9, 2021.

    There are a lot more important and priority stuff you all need to tell us.. 1/ Is the Sea Port going to reopen as promised on March 1st or its going to be pushed back again with some stupid usual Covid excuses.....2/ What are the Government plans to get back our yachting and tourism business that have gone to St Johns and St. Thomas,,,..3/ Explain to us What balance the government put in place and is excuting interms of creating upwarda economical activities and safety, the coexisting plan with Covid..

    Whilst I am not against the curfew for other reasons, it seems to me that Covid is not a justification for a 2 am to 5 am curfew!

      Is there an agenda, is there a situation of intrest to be delt with up to the said date, what could happen from 2am to 5am that cant happen from 5am to 2am?something weird going on to me.
