VI now in a fight against COVID & its variants- Dr Ronald E. Georges
Dr Georges was at the time speaking during a special GIS report broadcast this afternoon, September 7, 2021, on the GIS Facebook page on the topic of the Mu variant and what that means for the VI.
Variants arise from virus replications – Dr Georges
“The new variants emerge simply because of the amount of replication of the virus that is happening, so the more infections you have, the more replication you have, the more chances for these mistakes, the more chances for mutations,” he said.
According to Dr Georges, as such, the more infections in a community the more chances for a mutation to start, which increases the possibility of a new mutation to become the dominant strain.
"Once you have lots of infections happening, you’re going to have variants coming about… for example, persons who maybe have chronic diseases or maybe have immune issues that don’t clear the virus as quickly, you may find in those persons because they have prolonged infections, there is more replication and more chances for mutations,” he said.
According to the Acting CMO, there is a fallacy with persons saying the mutation is related to vaccinated or unvaccinated persons, rather he pointed out that mutations arise from virus replication.
“Of course vaccination, it reduces the potential infectiousness of persons and it can reduce the severity and duration of infections, so it can exert a pressure to reduce the spread of the virus and reduce the change of variants,” he said.
Delta still the 'most concerning' variant - WHO
He said; however, other schools of thought exist but in general, to reduce the spread of the virus in the population will require working to reduce the number of variants and potential variants.
As of today Tuesday, September 7, 2021, the fast-spreading Delta variant remains the “most concerning” coronavirus strain despite the emergence of the Mu variant, World Health Organisation (WHO) officials said.
Dr Georges said vaccination is one thing, but the public health measures will also help to address the issues of transmission of infections and variants in the VI.
“Those two things are the main tools we have. We need to fight against COVID and to fight against the emergence of new variants,” he said.

At the start researchers were saying this virus is mutating unusually fast. The latest info is pointing to American government & Dr fauci funding virus improvement research aka gain of function in wuhan where the outbreak was first recorded.
They say he lied before Congress about not funding such research.
The same people telling you what to do are the ones that caused the pandemic not the “unvaccinated” which they keep repeating as if that will change the facts.
There’s a lot of money & reputation behind this as if one was found to be the sole cause “the one that screwed up” what do you think would happen.....
And they double down accordingly blame China blame the unvaccinated blame the variants while making big bucks.
In come the booster shots more money grabbing or a show they didn’t have adequate esearch in the first place.
2 fully vaccinated Delta cases
All I am hearing is that being vaccinated will lessen the symptoms and keep a person from dying(jokes). Okay, so let persons take their chances at dying (God is the one who gave the breath and take it away).
This is an atrosity against the human race. Why would anyone mandate the vaccine if people can still get it? This whole thing stinks to the highest height and I would NOT be involved in this. MY BODY, MY CHOICE. DANIEL 1:8
Who has not been vaccinated and then they take it home to a child or their spouse who has been vaccinated. IGNORANCE, DUMB AND STUPIDITY ON THE NOT VACCINATED SPOUSE.
No need to argue soon we'll find out who is the real revolutionary.
