VI has 1 active recorded case of COVID-19

In fact, the territory now has just one active case of COVID-19, which was imported.
The latest February 14, 2021 stats released by local health authorities had revealed 2 active cases; however, Minister for Health and Social Development, Hon Carvin Malone (AL) during the Virgin Islands Party’s radio programme ‘Let’s Talk’ on ZBVI 780 AM on February 16, 2021, said there is just one lone case and that person will be retested today, February 17, 2021.
‘We followed the science’
He said the Virgin Islands has been able to effectively manage the COVID-19 situation because the territory followed the science. He said a lot of countries followed the economics and today the science has taken over.
“We followed the science and today we are able to be down....we are down to one right now, two has been reported but we are down to one right now and on the 17th [of February] the other person will be tested and we may well be down to zero.”
He said the success the Virgin Islands has had with managing the pandemic can be attributed to everyone doing their part, including the residents and visitors adhering to the protocols in place.
VI's reduction in COVID-19 cases also comes as the territory has embarked on the roll-out of its COVID-19 vaccination programme, which began on Thursday, February 18, 2021.
To date, the territory has recorded 153 cases of the virus, with 151 recoveries and 1 death.

What vaccine working ?
Check yourself before you wreck yourself ...
I feel absolutely fine and I still can’t stand Bill Gates.
I am now about 75% less likely than an unvaccinated person to have any symptoms of Covid. And I am about 66% less likely to transmit it should I come into contact with it. And I will not die of it or even feel very bad if I did catch it.
