GIMCHEON, South Korea- The Virgin Islands Taekwondo Team has created history by achieving a 14-medal haul at the World Taekwondo Championships in Gimcheon, South Korea.
The six martial artists and their two coaches all won medals in their various categories.
The 2026 World Taekwondo Championships were held from July 10 to 12, 2026, at the Gimcheon Sports Complex.
