ARNOS VALE, St Vincent & The Grenadines- The Virgin Islands, in preparation for their upcoming 2026 FIFA World Cup Qualifying football games against Dominica and Jamaica on June 4 and 7, 2025, respectively, played a friendly match against St Vincent and The Grenadines last night, Thursday, May 29, 2025.

The VI boys had to settle for a 1-1 draw after the home side managed a second-half equaliser at the Arnos Vale Ground in St Vincent.

Jerry Wiltshire put the Virgin Islands ahead in the 45th minute when a free kick by Robbie Green found him unmarked in front of goal.

St Vincent then had the VI boys on the back foot as they pressed for the equaliser. After some close calls, the home side found the back of the net in spectacular fashion.

Brad Richards unleashed a powerful shot from long range that beat goalkeeper Frankie Beckles in the 84th minute.

SVG won 3-0 when the two teams previously clashed in World Cup Qualifying on March 30, 2021.
