BAUGHERS BAY, Tortola, VI – Radio talk show host Claude O. Skelton-Cline has labeled the United Kingdom-sponsored Virgin Islands (VI) Commission of Inquiry (CoI) as a psychological warfare against the people of the territory.

Pointing to a new song detesting any UK rule in the territory, Skelton-Cline, during the Tuesday, November 30, 2021, edition of his talk show Honestly Speaking, said one of the aims of the CoI was to find dirt on the people of the VI and spread it.

Believe in Virgin Islanders more - Skelton-Cline

According to Skelton-Cline, the VI must therefore increase its confidence in the competency and character of its own people.

“Our people have already demonstrated that yes, we can because we have,” he said.

“We got to instill that because part of it is to erode and corrode in the minds of our people. Is that psychological warfare, you know? And that's part of what this whole CoI was, it's psychological warfare,” he said.

In previous episodes of the show, the man of the cloth had detailed that the CoI was ‘undressing’ the leaders and the people of the territory in what felt like a public lynching.

CoI set out to find 'dirt' - Skelton-Cline

This, he pointed out, was to erode confidence in the leaders of the territory and set the stage for the UK to take control.

He said the aim of the CoI was to “Find every nook and cranny, every dirt, whatever it is, and just let's spread it,” he said.

From the onset, social commentators have alleged that the CoI was akin to a fishing expedition based on allegations of corruption and no real evidence.

Skelton-Cline said Virgin Islanders have built everything around them, which has caused the UK to question the territory’s wealth.

The way the governments are "managing" the pandemic is much more akin to a psychological war

Did you get another gratuity payment for that statement?
People work twice as hard for minimum wage to pay taxes for your gratuity.
You lost the last bit of credibility a long time ago and you know it.
Why does this man still have a voice in media?

Claude Skelton Cline, very much unlike what you said, that "The CoI set out to find dirt" , no, they set out to probe, and are probing into the many years of political mismanaging our finances for personal gain at our experience. The more you talk, Sir, against the CoI findings is the you are providing them with information of your personal involvement, one way or the other. Running of options man? Can't you bring yourself to accept the fact that we know your games tactics that are doom to fail? We do.
