Jordan Dane got Turks and Caicos Islands off the mark in the 4^th minute at the Costa Rican Football Federation Field # 2 in Alajuela; however, Akhori Sebastian tied the match for the Virgin Islands in the 21^st minute when he intercepted a pass from a TCI defender, slotting the ball in from way above the 18-yard box.

TCI reclaimed the lead in the 43^rd minute, when Scott Kommalapate received a pass from Jwaun Exalu.

VI secure first point

Theo Coombs then converted a penalty for the VI in the 84^th minute for the 2-2 result. Coombs had been taken down in the 18-yard box while trying to weave through a cluster of TCI defenders.

Both Caribbean nations secured their first point on Tuesday; however, the VI ended at the bottom of the group due to the number of goals conceded.

Meanwhile, Costa Rica and Puerto Rico drew nil-nil on Tuesday. With the result, Costa Rica won Group D and qualified for its 12th FIFA U-17 World Cup.
