VG Bayside Blazers to compete in 'Bring Ya Best' Tournament in St Maarten
The team is in Dutch St Maarten from July 12 to July 18, 2026, to participate in the 'Bring Ya Best' Basketball Tournament, sponsored by the Reason for Hope Foundation. A spokesperson for the VG Bayside Blazers announced that they have appointed a new head coach, Virgin Gordian veteran player Randy M. George, along with Trevor M. Stevens, also known as 'West,' who will serve as the Assistant Coach.
The team has made significant roster changes, welcoming new star player Deon J. Edwin and the return of MVP Ahkeel J. Boyd. Mr Boyd played a crucial role in leading the team to the championship in the 2024 ‘Battle of the Fittest’ Basketball Tournament and is recognised as one of the top-ranked basketball players in Trinidad and Tobago.
