ST JOHN, Antigua & Barbuda – Former Police Commissioner of the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda Vere H. E. Browne, who has strong ties to the Virgin Islands (VI), has been nominated for an International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL) award for services rendered to INTERPOL while he served as in Antigua.

Mr Browne also served in the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force up to the rank of Chief Inspector as a veteran of the local Police Force in the VI.

In a letter seen by Virgin Islands News Online (VINO)  dated August 17, 2023, as part of marking its 100 years of service on September 7, 2023, Mr Browne has been nominated for an INTERPOL award for service rendered to INTERPOL while in the office at the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force on Antigua.

The letter noted that the award will be presented at a special ceremony hosted by Interpol on September 7, 2023, in Antigua.

In 2010 in the VI, Mr Browne had applied for the position of Deputy Commissioner of Police in the Virgin Islands but was overlooked when a United Kingdom citizen David Morris- at the time Assistant Chief Constable in the South Wales Police force in the UK- was given the job.

Interpol is an international organization that facilitates worldwide police cooperation and crime control. It is the world's largest international police organization.

He was not good enough for the British to be the Commissioner of Police in BVI. What a set of racists, colonial, hypocrites who only want white UK persons to be commissioner of police in BVI and all Caribbean OTs so they can carry out their modernized plan of slavery through abuse of power cloaked as good governance.

Congratulations!!! However, when will we see a Caribbean Person as Commissioner of Police in the BVI? It is well organized to avoid this happening and this needs to stop.

Mr vere brown had no connection with the then Spencer administration, it was on professional basis he was in that job where his professional acumen was sought by Antigua after decades of ALP corruption permeated the Antigua police force, presently in Antigua now after ALP regained control the police force are puppet of corrupt politicians and investors, look a situation in the sister island Barbuda where the police has no abode because of hurricane years ago, and some fly by night racist mafia investors who titled themselves "PLH" is paying rent for the police to stay in a nice place, so each time PLH call on them to remove a black man from the beach or it's buffer zone the police move with alacrity to fulfill the wishes of it's landlord PLH. That could not happen under vere brown or the upp which is affiliated to Baldwin Spencer, so cudo's to vere brown you make us proud .
