CARACAS, Venezuela, SA- Venezuela President Nicolás Maduro has been captured by the United States (U.S.) and removed from the country along with his wife, Cilia A. Flores de Maduro.

U.S. President, Donald J. Trump, announced Maduro’s capture on Truth Social, where he wrote, “The United States of America has successfully carried out a large-scale strike against Venezuela and its leader."

CBS News reported that U.S. officials told them Maduro was captured during the early hours of Saturday, January 3, 2025, by members of Delta Force, the U.S. military’s top special unit. This unit is also responsible for the 2019 mission that killed former Islamic State leader Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi.

Proof of life demanded

Venezuela’s Vice President Delcy Rodriguez demanded proof of life for Maduro as well as his location while speaking on the country’s state-run TV, soon after the Venezuelan leader was captured.

Democratic Senator  Ruben Gallego of Arizona, a U.S. Marine Corps veteran, wrote on X, "This war is illegal,” and called it the “second unjustified war in my lifetime. Gallego was deployed to Iraq.

Republican Senator Mike Lee of Utah also posted on X, writing, “I look forward to learning what, if anything, might constitutionally justify this action in the absence of a declaration of war or authorisation for the use of military force.”

Venezuelan military forces deployed

Meanwhile, Venezuelan Defence Minister Vladimir Padrino López revealed that military forces are being deployed across the country, following the U.S. strikes.

A state of emergency has been declared.

He called the situation "the worst aggression” against Venezuela and called for a united front of resistance.

"They've attacked us, but they will not subdue us,” López said. He called for calm and unity while warning against anarchy and disorder.

“Let’s not succumb to the panic the enemy seeks to instil,” he cautioned Venezuelans.

The CIA have agents planted every where including the BVI. They are suffocated and well trained trackers. And here we are on this 2x4 Island with the mentality that we are immune from anything that is going on on the outside.

When Maduro was ready to invade Guyana (A Caricom Member by the way) not a word form anyone other than a feeble toothless objection. So he gets a pass because he is regarded as a minority? Hell no. The best thing just happened for Venezuala which at one point was the diamond of South America.

We don’t even have to wait for History to show us, he is the worst President the USA has ever had. He goes against the Constitution and the rule of law on a daily basis. He is not Making America Great Again, he is damaging what is (and was) great a Meb out America, the rule of law. He wants only revenge, and cares only for Power and money for himself and his cronies. You think he cares about you. He doesn’t. He doesn’t give a damn about anyone. He just wants your support so that he can get away with what ever he wants.

Chavez and Maduro F'ed up the Country and there was a mejor brain drain all the professionals and business owners large and small fled and re grouped in Florida where they are thriving. At some point we have to realize that alot of the policies sound good but neither China nor Russia practice a pure form of socialism or communism they have evolved these caribbean Nations and some Africa nations are the only ones still attempting to make those failed forms of government work. Are some social policies necessary ? yes , even the US has some socialism to an extend such as social security and other programs but the are afraid to call it that but socialism /communism in its purest form does not work.

Trump is hitting everyone. He close down all funding for child care assistance in the US because of the fraud the Somolians was doing. They would rent places and set up daycares and get funding for a hundred and 20 children. Children would be seen going into the daycares and then exiting right back out the doors and their parents were seen on camera taking a white envelope from a Somalian man. The women on camera saying American is treating them bad with diamond rings on their fingers and designer bags. You all keep those people out of the BVI.They are pirates.
