Vehicles damaged as fire breaks out @ workshop in Towers

TOWERS, Tortola, VI- A number of vehicles are said to have been damaged due to a fire at a vehicle repair shop in Towers, Tortola this afternoon, January 19, 2022.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, the fire started sometime around 4:00 pm at Godfrey’s Garage.

Officers from the Virgin Islands Fire and Rescue Services, along with other persons in the area, managed to contain the blaze just around 5:00 pm.

It is unclear if anyone has been hurt.

The fire also damaged a concrete structure behind the workshop.
