Vehicle ignites @ Fort Hill

FORT HILL, Tortola, VI – A vehicle caught fire on Fort Hill this evening June 10, 2015. It is the second to catch fire today, according to the VI Fire & Rescue Services.

This news site stumbled upon the scene at approximately 7:35pm by which time the fire was put out by firemen who were still on the scene at the time of our arrival.

What caused vehicle PR 66 to ignite is still unknown at this time.

While on the scene, this news site learnt that earlier today another vehicle suffered a similar fate at the lower section of Fort Hill.

It was on June 7, 2015 that a pickup, which was part of the National Democratic Party motorcade, caught fire shortly after ascending Soldier Hill.

    Why it just can't be a lack of maintenance? hope not but i'm just saying when toothache hit you at 3am, tell yourself it's NDP, and not a lack of you doing maintenance you're mouth, When people like yourself actually wake, you will be a lot happier. you don't know if his/her spark plugs was the cause or not, everything NDP NDP NDP coming on get over yourself.

    Something is wrong in this place the Government needs to do a massive investigation on the gasoline quality , transmission fluid that these people sell or the mechanic if it is that test guys can't fix these vehicles but something is wrong.
