Vehicle goes up in flames @ Diamond Estate

DIAMOND ESTATE, Tortola, VI- As if flash flooding in Road Town and other low-lying areas of Tortola was not bad news enough yesterday, May 7, 2024, a vehicle was destroyed by fire at Diamond Estate.
The fire reportedly occurred around 6:00 PM while the vehicle, a pickup truck, was in the driveway of a villa.
The cause of the blaze remains unknown to our news centre.
Chief Fire Officer Zebalon A. McLean confirmed to our News Centre that his officers responded to a vehicle fire at Diamond Estate.
There were no reports of injuries.
Mr McLean also said the incident is being investigated.
