LAMBERT’S ESTATE, Tortola, VI – A woman residing in an apartment at Hawk's Nest, Lambert’s Estate had a shock some time after 6:00pm this evening February 9, 2015 when she saw her parked vehicle on fire.

From one side of the East End area black smoke was seen in the air. It was confirmed that there was indeed some emergency as a fire engine was seen moving at a fast pace with its sirens being sounded.

Following the smoke our roving camera caught up with the reality at Hawk’s Nest.

The owner reportedly had gotten home less than an hour before, went into her home and was on the way out to walk her dog when she noticed the vehicle on fire. It was said that the vehicle was recently registered and it remains a mystery what could have possibly caused it to ignite.

This adds to the list of vehicles that have been destroyed by fire recently across the Virgin Islands.
