USVI Elites overcome VG Bayside Blazers in lucrative KOTC rematch

- Pocketed the $20K up for grabs

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- 2025 King of the Courts Caribbean Champions, VG Bayside Blazers, suffered their first defeat in five games when they were challenged to a rematch by USVI Elites at Multi-Purpose Sports Complex last night, June 21, 2025.

At stake were $20,000 and bragging rights.

The game was a close affair up to halftime, but VG Bayside Blazers, who had already beaten USVI Elites during the King of the Courts Caribbean Championships, lost their way.

USVI Elites won 73-55.

Leonardo Castillo had a game-high 22 points for the visitors while Randy M. George top-scored with 16 points for VG Bayside Blazers.

      Yep, steve found some A$$es in the government and a few sponsors, they put up.the money, he keep the gate and bar, no given back to the community, heard him say basketbsll is back in the bvi; what a stupid remark, ok then so who is playing next weekend, what bothers me with his greed is just this week a youngster was in need of emergency medical help he could of tell both teams $3000.00 will be deducted to assist the young man but no to greedy to think of that- but can.we really blame him steve, no , found a$$es and he rode them to the ground!
