UPDATE: Wife warned Noble against going fishing - Mother-in-law
The body of Mr Noble, 30, was recovered in waters off Handsome Bay, Virgin Gorda around 7 A.M. today, April 5, 2013 by a search party consisting officers from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) and the Virgin Islands Search and Rescue (VISAR). Reports are that the man and another person left on a fishing trip in a kayak around 5 P.M. on April 4, 2013. They reportedly encountered difficulties in rough waters and the kayak subsequently capsized.
Sources further informed this news site that the other person managed to swim ashore and alerted others about their plight.
Speaking with Virgin Islands News Online this morning April 5, 2013 the man's mother-in-law, Sandra D. Harrigan, confirmed what several others had to say. "He was just a very friendly person. We use to call him taxi because he would just be picking up people [and] taking them where they wanted to go because he was such a people's person, so loving and caring about others," said Ms Harrigan.
Mr Noble lived with his wife Jacia N. Noble and their two children ages 6 and 2 years old. He had celebrated his 30th birth anniversary on Easter Monday and spent most of the day with his family and friends. "All day he was out there, [he] went to view the parade and everything," recalled a distraught Harrigan.
On Thursday April 4, 2013, sometime in the afternoon, Harrigan said that Noble called his wife to inform her that he was going fishing since she had not yet returned home from work. "But she used to tell him about going out there to fish, she use to talk to him against it all the time. Now look he drowned, he dead, this is so hard and so sad for us. We lost a very special person," she noted.
The woman expressed concern about Noble’s children, who are now without a biological father. "Those kids suspect something was wrong since yesterday because the big one kept asking questions and was very uneasy, they know that something was wrong."
This news site understands that Tyrone Noble did not know how to swim and his colleague had swam to shore to seek help but it was too late as Tyrone went under and could not have been found despite desperate search efforts last evening.

R.I.P
Secondly I would like to say and I know some of you will say that this is cold at this sad time, but when are people going to learn to use life vests when venturing out in little boats/Kayaks/Dinghies? When are scooter riders going to wear helmets? When are drivers going to put their children in the correct seat with the correct seat belt? When are passengers going to stop sitting on the tailgate of trucks? When they do there will be less sad news like this.
Going to school back in the eighties, I know that 1+1=2, but now-a- days that just not adding up. How can a man who cannot swim go on a Kayak without a life jacket? Somebody please tell me that equation is adding up and makes sense because my mind is wondering to what if………………….
On another note, fishing in a kayak? haven't heard that before. Out there was really rough yesterday. People be careful, mother nature is no joke.
why would a man who can't swing be on a boat fishing with no life jacket? this makes absolutely no sense to me. People who can't swim does be so fraid to even touch the sand must less be out on a little boat like that. And since when a kayak does turn over, even if it does it doesn't sink u can hold onto it. I would interrogate....if i was the cops ...... hm this is a strange story to me
