Trust me, 12 don’t mean all are winners. Am VIP but I have no motivation for these 2 and don’t see them S winners. Really thought Mitsy had the best chance of reinvigorating the politics and bring transformation.

I can’t see how and why she is overlooked, time to run as an independent Mitsy!! We need you as an option in this race. You own the party nothing. Please run at large- independent.

You are a natural winner, and you have the knowledge to lead in economics, health and education!

You have my vote this time Mitsy, make your own way!

I cannot agree with you at all. Whether you like the VIP or not, you must respect the fact that they have a full slate of competent persons. Remember the NDP was in government just 4 years ago and could not get a full slate and now the same is happening again. It says a lot about their poor structure and leadership. It also says a lot about VIP's well-organized structure, stability, and structure. For this reason alone, my family and I am voting for the VIP ALL the way this time.

A lot have been accomplished compared to previous administration. That's why I believe that an other chance with these group would redirect the future of the BVI. i Think this new VIP team should be given a chance to prove themselves further. They are really for all, that's why OJ is running for them. When the others keep turning their backs on him after using him they forget all about him. VIP came in and looked out for him. As the saying goes a promise is a comfort to a fool. See now? If people know what is good for them the will keep the green for go.

I voted for Mitch each time he ran but I found he has become too arrogant and power hungry, so I was going to vote for Troy Christorpher. However, I am voting for Marietta and all VIP four At-Large this time. They deserve another term. We cannot ignore covid and how well they handled it despite the few blunders and criticism. They have done more good than bad and they kept us alive.
    • Kept alive? Really? (19/03/2023, 02:50) Like (1) Dislike (0) Reply
They did a harsh lockdown which was something they can’t be criticised for because it would be a hard decision for anybody doing the job to face. But they didn’t keep people alive. They did not. Because when covid eventually hit the BVI it was un- controllable like every other country. They delayed it. That’s what they did. They should have opened the borders earlier to align with the bigger countries but they waited for everyone else to build up immunity abroad to then decide to open up. Smart decision ????

In the meantime, They and their croonies made a killing off Covid with purposely denying entry to the BVI on the portal, charging excessive tax on arrival, telling you to use only one of two boats to take you to the sister island (and they were the most expensive boats), taxi drivers charging $20 to go from airport to dock in Trellis with no regulations! I am a BVIslander who experienced lockdown abroad. All I wanted to do was come home even for a day to see my grandma before she passed. The government made it so difficult to the point it felt impossible to get there. I know people who just gave up trying. They bled anyone they could to make up for loss of tourism. That was not Kool.

Voting for any one of them running seems pointless. They don’t take action for us strugglers. They look after themselves and their people who they can gain from.

Remember only a certain type of person go into politics. The deceiving, yes sir/madam, conforming type who then switches up the moment they feel they have made it.

I am an NDP in the 8th District, but I have an issue with Marlon's poor leadership. He is always on the fence on issues and always playing the role of victim even when he was in the NDP government. Also, it says a lot that he cannot get a full slate to follow him as leader for the upcoming elections. He is out trying to get independent candidates to switch to NDP so he can get candidates. Lorna who is the former Premier's wife has launched as an independent candidate and now he is trying to get her to join. The mere fact she did that shows her lack of confidence in his leadership. Having said that I have respect for the VIP structure, and I will give them my votes in my house this time.

Why in this day and age would a psrty pick up any and sny kind of Candidates ,just to say that they have a full slate? That is just damaging your capability. After all you're just restructurring with worthless material.. that is exactly why the unification party or group ended where it is.. you all are just removing your noses to fix faces ,that can no longer work.
