UPDATE: VI netballers lose opening game @Battle of the Isles
The visitors trailed 6-15 at the end of the 1st quarter, 16-29 at the end of the second quarter, and 27-38 at the end of the 3rd quarter, as their younger and quicker opponents outhustled them.
The VI found some rhythm late in the 3rd quarter and in the opening minutes of the 4th quarter but St Eustatius, riding the loud support of their home fans, found another gear to finish strong.
St Eustatius (Statia) went into the game with much to play for after being blown out by Canada, 21- 75, last evening.
Ursulas now have the task of playing Canada at 6:15 PM today.
