I am extremely shocked by the level of shooting incidents in the territory and in particular on the quiet island of Virgin Gorda. If these types of activities are78p]\ not curtail, it will cripple even the little tourism activities on the island. The perpetrator or perpetrators of these shooting do not have any thing to loose. The businessmen and woman who invested heavily are the ones who will be affected. Residents will be fearful to venture out at nights to attend any activity.

It is regretible that the this high level of serious crimes are rapidly continuing with no end in sight. I do hope that the injured will recovered quickly, and the guilty ones be held accountible, if known, and arrested.
Personally I am seeing a negative trend due to rise of unGodly practices in the B.V.I especial the past five or there about years. Allow me, if you will, to instill this truth in our mind. We are in the third decade of the New Millenium, 21st Centry AD. Voilent crimes are the norm throughout the world. Along with natural developments also come disorderly conducts.
Thanks to The Almighty God, and all that shows

Continuing: Thanks to the Almighty God, and all who paticipate, and support the RVIPF anti-crime efforts, things are not worst than they could be. Even man's best effort will not stop violent crimes. But if we seek God's help, obey His directives, and unselfishly cooperate with
Law Inforcement, if they themselves are in lune with the law, we will soonwr rather tha later, see a sharp reduction in violence in the B.V.I, without which, crimes will increase rather than decrease. "Together we stand." Divided we fall." The choice is ours to make. May we choose wisely.
    God loves us all unconditionally.

Is this what its all about; each time there is a crime in the BVI, it's someone from the "ISLANDS"? People, we have a serious issue here and it's not where the person involved in the crime is from. No BVI was not , is not, nor will ever be invincible when it comes to crime, violence, etc. But the rate at which these incidents occur tells us we have trouble on our hands. And look at who are victims; our young men.Cant you people see it's not about pointing fingers at the "ISLAND" people who may or may not even have anything to do with the crimes committed; but is for you bloggers to not be this judgemental and condescending, but to try and think of ways we can help our youths use their time and energy positively. Society has failed our youths. They are confused, frustrated and hurt. And its because of the way they are treated when they mess up. They need our help. They need our love and attention. They need to hear "I will help you through this".
Come on people, the BVI was not, is not and will not be absolved from incidents such as these but we are living in perilous times and we need to be more creative in our thoughts , words and actions and tackle the problem at its roots.
Think of all the plans on the political agenda. How many are geared towards helping our young people emotional, mentally and physically?
Lets send out a COVID-Y alert. Let's declare a day to cry out to God for our Youths. Let's put the measures in place that will help flatten the curve to this COVID-Y infection that's eating at and destroying our Youths.

And yes i know some will look point for grammatical errors in this post but we have a more urgent matter to deal with.

OUR YOUNG MEN ARE IN DANGER OF BEING EXTINCT

Why we like to cast blame so. Do some introspection if we continue harboring evil what we think would happen. We all have a duty family or friend evil is evil hate me or love me. We are the ones responsible. Look out for one another pay attention to our surrounding and stop living in space. Sometimes all a person needs is a word of encouragement to help them to think and turn from evil. Doing our part in society is more important than casting blame.
