UPDATE: The Pentateuch to be launched on Wednesday
Speaking with Virgin Islands News Online, Hull said that a limited number of books will be on sale at the launch and anyone purchasing the book at the launch will receive an autographed copy and a free bookmark.
“Books will also be on sale shortly at Infinite Solutions and CTL. Anyone wishing to reserve a copy of the book for purchase should send an email to thepentateuch@hotmail.com,” said Hull.
The Pentateuch is the first in a series of a collection of books targeting pre-teens and teens, whom she said is the generation that is being lost. It comprises fifty four stories drawn from the first five books of the Old Testament of the Holy Bible.

The Pentateuch – My First Hunt for the Holy Scriptures
-A new book released by Virgin Islander Ayana S. Hull
ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI – Deep within her soul was the yearning to do her bit in the molding of the nation’s youths. And living in today’s society where before her very eyes she would have seen many young people straying away into the worldly side of life, this yearning quickly developed into a deep soul burning.
“It’s happened. I am here. I have published the first one,” said Ayana S. Hull.
Ms Hull is one of many strong, admirable women whose life and values are well rooted in the bedrock of the principles of the Holy Bible. She is nothing but a strong Christian woman.
Yesterday June 5, 2014 she sat with Virgin Islands News Online and spoke about what has led her to give up her all her spare time, including late nights, weekends and holidays to the writing of her first personal collection of books titled, ‘The Pentateuch – My First Hunt for the Holy Scriptures’.
Her first book was written for the government of the Virgin Islands titled, “Financial Services deMystified – an introduction to the Financial Services Industry in the Virgin Islands.”
The Pentateuch is the first in a series of a collection of books targeting pre-teens and teens, the generation that is being lost. It is fifty four stories that break down the Old Testament’s first five books. “The first five books of the Bible I referred to as the Pentateuch and even though it’s a big word I thought I would use it deliberately because it opens their vocabulary,” said Ms Hull.
This particular series will contain six volumes in the Old Testament and three from the New, “So out of this project there are nine books that would come. Once I am finished with them individually I will repackage them as a full series.”
It all started one Sunday morning as she was in the middle of praise and worship when the Holy Spirit gave her the inspiration. “One of the youth pastors was preaching and we went into the song about break every chain and something just downloaded in my spirit that the world is doing what they have to do to capture the young people but the church is not,” she recollected.
She said that if the church is to keep pace with what is going on with young people then it has to innovate, revolutionize, rejuvenate and find some way to capture the teen audience. “So I was impressed upon to start this series of books for young people in the way that Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew would put out work for young people and to put it in such a way that they find it interesting from cover to cover,” said Ms Hull.
She knew it has to be presented in small bites for young people to pick it up and read not feeling like they are reading the Holy Bible. “That way the word of God gets deposited in them,” said the budding VI writer.
Ms Hull is a dedicated Attorney at Law, a position that sees her committing ten to twelve hours of a day weekly toward her job and so when she had the inspiration she asked herself, ‘Where would I find the time to write a whole collection?”
She said the divine inspiration responded in the affirmative, “If you try to make the time I will find you the time,” she clearly recalled.
This all happened in October of 2012, “And today I have written four of the books.”
Today the first has been released and the second likely before the end of the year. “I have done four of them so I have gotten to Song of Solomon and I only have the major prophets and the minor prophets left from the old testament and I think that I should be finishing that this year hopefully and then I go on to the New Testament,” she said.
Much credit has been given to retired English teacher of the BVI High School Ms Celia Georges and Peggy Clyne, who is also an author, who both assisted extensively with the editing of the books. The targeted audience was also integrally involved in seeing the final product being what it is today.
“Some of the young people at the New Life Baptist Church were able to give their input on the cover and the layout, whether they think it’s something they would enjoy reading.”
Today the book can be purchased on Amazon and in the matter of days it will be on the shelves of stores in the Virgin Islands. “The book will be on Island on the 23rd of June and they will be on sale at Clarence Thomas Ltd and I am working now on trying to go through some different avenues to get them placed in different schools as a religious education material,” said Ms Hull.
Followers of the Holy Scriptures would recall that the Israelites were commanded to teach their children the Word of God.
“It’s so clear what we were meant to do. This is what he is saying to the children of God about making sure their children have the word deposited in them. They would need the word for their later decisions in life and if they don’t have it you will find them struggling more than a child that is properly cemented,” said an emotional Ms Hull.
She further added that she thinks that as a country “we have gone away from this principle. This is my contribution towards trying to get us back into full circle with God’s word.”
The book can be reviewed and purchased at the following link:

Well honey she is obviously here because intelligence sees no politics.
I suggest you go get some and use it to your advantage and hopefully you have people to encourage you. And yes I'm mad
To think you probably have kids
What do you tell them when they accomplish great things?
#JustAThought -_-
Ps. I'm 17, you need to grow up because even I can sense your lack of intelligence and I'm not a straight A student

I am so proud of you. I wonder how you get all done with such grace and style. Ignore the comment above about being humble, they don't know you or the cost of the oil in your alabaster box. You have in fact been so humble that God continues to elevate you; the work you've done is speaking for you. I wish you fair winds and full sails on this project that it will enlarge your territory. I hope book is not seen as a local project, but an international need; it shall be so. I love you Ayana S. Hull and I will be your biggest fan because you are leading a winning team.
these 5 books were the basis for the enslavement of the black man throughout the centuries.
this indoctrination borders on the criminal
SHAMEFUL!!!!!!!!!!!
Fix it and you will be fine.
If this is the country I have to come back to, haha you won't be seeing me unless I'm doing free surgeries or I'm on vacation.

If you want someone to deliberately walk behind you instead of your side! You are not in, with or hearing the word.
If you walk by someone look the in the eye and not say good “hello”! You are not in, with or hearing the word.
If when the opportunity presents itself for you to help, assist or acknowledge and you don’t! You are not in, with or hearing the word.
We all will interpret the bible in different ways, we may speak of it in different ways, we may understand it in different ways and that ok as long as we know that god exist, god loves us, protects us, guide us, keeps us safe. The same way we are different colors, heights, sizes we will think differently. That is why we have doctors, lawyers, teachers, scientists because we think differently.
I don’t care who you are or what you are, being made in God’s image and likeness means you have to get off your pedestal, get down to the real reason you are on this earth.
No one is better than the other, God put us here for a reason.
If you are healthy, help those that are sick.
If you have more food than you can eat, give to those that have none.
If you have a house with no children, take a child that haven’t any
If you are educated, teach those that are not.
If you can’t say anything good about Ms. Hull, say nothing at all.

All this boils down to respect, if we respect others we will think before we open our mouth to talk ill of another person. What the bible say about respect
We need to respect others belief and
Romans 12:10
Love one another with brotherly affection. Outdo one another in showing honor (respect)
Philippians 2:3
Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves.
2 Corinthians 10:12-16
Not that we dare to classify or compare ourselves with some of those who are commending themselves. But when they measure themselves by one another and compare themselves with one another, they are without understanding. But we will not boast beyond limits, but will boast only with regard to the area of influence God assigned to us, to reach even to you. For we are not overextending ourselves, as though we did not reach you. For we were the first to come all the way to you with the gospel of Christ. We do not boast beyond limit in the labors of others. But our hope is that as your faith increases, our area of influence among you may be greatly enlarged, so that we may preach the gospel in lands beyond you, without boasting of work already done in another's area of influence.
Titus 2:7
Show yourself in all respects to be a model of good works, and in your teaching show integrity, dignity,
You may not or will not like what the other person is saying or doing but you have to respect them and refrain from gossiping and talking ill about that person.
That is what she is doing.
