UPDATE: Tereim Grant identified as shooting victim
Grant is reportedly undergoing surgery at Peebles Hospital.
Meanwhile, the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) said two persons were injured in the shooting incident, which allegedly took place some time around 4:00 AM in the vicinity of a bar.
"Police are investigating a shooting incident early this morning resulting in injuries to two males. Both men who are receiving treatment at Peebles Hospital are in stable condition, one with a gunshot wound. A firearm was recovered from the site of the incident," the RVIPF stated in a press release
Police also said the circumstances that led to those injuries are still being determined.

Man shot @ Paraquita Bay
Reports reaching Virgin Islands News Online are that a man has been hospitalised following a shooting in Paraquita Bay, on the main island of Tortola.
According to reports, the shooting took place some time around 4 AM today, June 30, 2016.
It is not clear under what circumstances the man was shot, but according to reports, the shooting took place in the vicinity of a bar.
Confirmation was not yet received from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) at the time of publication.

There have been a string of reports of shootings in the territory within the past couple of weeks.
