UPDATE: Strikers separate themselves at the top in Bowling League

- Eclipse and We Jamin round out the top 3 after 6 rounds

ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- After sharing the lead with We Jamin after 5 rounds, Strikers struck in round 6 to move ahead by 4 points from closest rival Eclipse, who also enjoyed a decent night when the BVI Monday Bowling League continued this week.

Strikers, who started out on 32 points, bowled their way to 40 points in the 6th round with some 14 games won in total.

The Strikers team include Bernard Grant, Sly Mitchel, Titus Laurencia, Cris JN Baptise and Keon K. August.

The Eclipse team of Chelc Solomon, Dre Massiah, E. J. Wyke, Jr. Vasquez, Ronnie Brown, Paul Webster and Zoochoos Scatliffe now have 36 points from 13 games won to date. 

We Jamin, which have Ace Carty Snr, Daps Brown, Paul Rhule, Nadia Edwards and Hylford Duhaney, were only able to add two points to their total after only winning one game on Monday December 10, 2012.

Pin-Noy Busters are 4th on 26 points followed by Pin Killer on 24. Both 4G Ballers and Split Happens are on 22 points while Knights have 20 and Matrix Rollers in the cellar on 12 points.

Keen competition brewing in Bowling League

- We Jamin & Strikers top team standings

Keen competition is being witnessed in the BVI Monday Bowling League as the competition heads into a 6th week.

As it stands, We Jamin head the team standings with 32 points and 12 games won as against Strikers, who also have 32 points but one less win.

In third place after five rounds is Split Happens on 22 points followed by Pin Killer on 20 points. Pin-Noy Busters also have 20 points while $G Ballers have 18, Knights 14 and Matrix Rollers 10.

The League is motoring on for 24 rounds.

The big names emerging so far in the early stage are Pokie Braithwaite of Pin Killer, Lucky Reyes of Pin-Noy Busters, and Titus Laurencia of Strikers in the Men’s category while Enda Ruffell Smith of Pin-Noy Busters, Brenda M. Fahie of Matrix Rollers and Chris JN Baptiste of Strikers are the top bowlers in the female division.
