Not even the roads alone needs fixing. The building the employees working in has mold in it and people are getting sick every day. One lady was out of work per the doctor order because of the mold. It's damn ridiculous that people has to lose their lives over the negligence of in incompetent ignorant person that's over that department.

This govt is a big waste of time. I made a big mistake voting for them mehson. All the empty promises not being fulfilled makes me very angry. Alot of accidents maybe prevented if the roads were descent but unfortunately they're not safe for trucks and small cars at all. The BVI roads are the worst in the entire region and that's a dam shame. Yes some drivers are reckless and so forth but these roads are not safe at all. I'm totally fed the way the country running. Not good at all.

It has been observed that the death rate in the BVI has increased exponentially over the last two and a half decades in particual, and VG deaths stands stands out to be the highest in the territory.

Some thing is not sitting well with many who are observing the phenomenon. People could be doing evil to people., or so it seems, but most will be in denial and try to side step the obvious.

I first wish to offer condolences to the the Families and loved ones of these men. May God grant you strength in this time of your lost. May these death help to safe other lives.
This accident have highlighted some road safety issues, especially for the number of tourists and schoolchildren who ascend and descend these hills daily. I bring to light the school kids who rain or sunshine leave the Festival grounds for the Meyers and other schools. Are these buses required to be be checked and service daily? Are the drivers required to undergo physical checks? Does an adult/teacher required to sit in the bus to watch out for these kids some under ten years old?
Furthermore, the DMV and the Driving Schools who normally test/practice students in that area will there be a change? Many times when descending Joe's Hill, one is met with Driving School vehicles crossing the road. Many drivers have complained about having to apply brakes coming downhill even when it is wet to avoid collisions with these vehicles. I am quite sure there are safer areas to test/practice students
I call on us to be cautious
