ROAD TOWN, Tortola, VI- Award-winning gospel singer, composer, entertainer, artist performer, and songwriter Samuel Medas had the crowd at Charlie Neil Frett Festiville in full praise mode at Gospel Fest 2025, last night, July 24, 2025.

The free event was the first stage show at Charlie Neil Frett Festiville and saw a fair-sized crowd coming out to get their praises on.

Medas, who is also a former Guyana Soca Monarch, has many gospel songs; however, his most popular ones are 'Royalty', 'Presence', 'Move' and 'Jah Arise'.

Other main acts are Tiffany George and Donna Clyne.

Also taking part in Gospel Fest 2025 are NLBC Praise and Worship, Joy Praise and Abby Christopher.

Chairperson of the Virgin Islands Festival & Fairs Committee, Mrs Natalie N. Penn-Lake, said, “We’re inviting all persons to come out to be a part of that celebration," during the Virgin Islands Voice on Wednesday, July 23, 2025.

True Christians know better than to be a part of, much less lead as a kickoff for a vulgar carnival, flesh-exposing, XXX displaying, Jezebel's tripteaser, human-degrading, so-called emancipation show. The truth is that only deceived church goers,, and other religious yes, but without righteousness Will participate, and are eager to be present tonight.
I know that many will dislike this comment because it doesn't fit there mindset. But this comment is not to celisit likes or dislikes, but rather to highlight a clear distinction position of how far we people have move away from God path of abundance life. Opps! Many wolves in sheep's clothing will be praising their gods using Jesus' name falsely as a front of true worship, and genuine freedom. Amen.

Y'all so called Christians like to play saint. Let the man without sin cast the first stone. Foolish,Jesus came to save us sinners. Jesus never condemed them and cried dem down... Go out there and approach the sinners since you are not a big one and try to lead them on the right path. I could never understand why so many christians have the wrong attitude, but they saved and protected by the blood of christ. Stop being hypocrits and be more Christ-like. Amen.

You are right., however as a Christian in my youth I used to think like that too. However as a mature Christian I have seen a lot. I’m not here to Judge anyone. I meet people who are not Christian with the biggest heart. My take is that people are at different Christian maturity levels it’s not for any of us to judge.

Jesus never took part in the things of the World. He definitely condemned wrong doing. Opening a sinful festival with gospel is not of God.

Those so called Christians need to choose, God or Satan

      You are so correct!

God had no part in that celebration last night, it was just noise in His ears not a sweet smelling savor.

God is not a God confusion.

The scriptures tells us “ put a difference between holy and unholy and between clean and unclean”

@trust you are so correct! But the devil has them so blinded that they will never see the truth! They are just walking in religion. These are the times to be separate and apart. These are the times to go into the highways and the byways and call them out of their sin! Not join them in their sin. God cannot bless what he has already cursed!

Will the TRUE CHRISTIANS PLEASE STAND UP!!

What a shame that these people who are calling themselves by the name of CHRIST year after year are going in the devil's campground singing gospel songs and think that they are doing something good, when in fact they are just going there to show off their talent and glorify self and Satan, the Great Deceiver! Has anyone surrendered to Christ last night because of your singing??? Do you think that they will because of it? You all need to listen to that message by Pastor Hugo Thomas, where he preached about this same issue. Those SDA singers are the worst because they claim to know the truth, yet went into that Festival village last night. The call that is being rung out for years is to COME OUT FROM AMONG THEM AND BE YE SEPARATE, says the Lord! Thank God, Jesus said that He has 'other sheep' who are not of this fold, and when the time is right, He will bring them in. GOD HAS A REMNANT WHO HAS NOT BOWED THEIR KNEES TO BAAL. Pastor Sylvester of the SDA Church, you need to discipline these members because they are a disgrace to the faith. Even last year they went to the Queen show! These sets are not true SDA's!

@ By their fruits.. Im 100% certain that even if you are not going to the queen show or concert you will sin.. You sinned yesterday and you are gonna sin every single day until you die... Remember that you will never be perfect in the laws.. Not in this lifetime and live in your truth.. For you to label the location as the devils compound is so delusional.. Do you park in that compound outside of the festival times?.. If so
. You've been parking in the devils compound.. I suggests you throw away your vehicle and clothing and start a new.

Wait, the booths were open. Were they selling alcohol during the Gospel Fest? If so, those so-called gospel singers should be ashamed of themselves.
