UPDATE: Royal Knights win 2025 BVICA Peter Haycraft T10 Cup
It was the first title in any format for Royal Knights since 2019, and they showed how badly they wanted it after Vikings chose to bat first and posted a daunting 163 for 3.
Vikings top batsman Julian Bannet turned up for the party, smashing 93 from 30 balls, before he was dismissed off the bowling of Kazim Haywood.
Timothy Sookram then added 23 runs before falling to the experienced Royal Knights' bowler Reno Mettleholzer, and then Deco Khemraj took to the crease to hit a swashbuckling 32 from 11 balls before departing via the run-out route.
De Jesus the star
When Royal Knights batted, Keion De Jesus emerged as the saviour. De Jesus scored an unbeaten 88 runs from 30 deliveries to shoulder the run chase.
Royal Knights lost four wickets, but Shelan Isidore struck an unbeaten 31 runs from 9 balls to see off the Vikings' challenge.
De Jesus, who smashed nine 6’s in his 88 not out, was named Man of the Match.
Grenada win 3rd Place
Meanwhile, Grenada took third place with a 9-wicket win over RTW Falcons.
Delrol Redhead ended unbeaten on 54 as Grenada scored 107 for 1, replying to the Falcons’ 106 for 8.
