Sorry to hear that but the NDP in their mad dash for reelection (giving out bush cutting contracts) have the workers working day and night without the proper safety guards like cones , reflective vests and signage.

You all need to stop. This has nothing to do with NDP. Anyone who knows him, knows that he does this for a living for many years now.

You all really crazy. I know this man and his family. I am so sorry for what has happened, but what is sick is that you are on here politicizing everything. This accident had nothing to do with NDP and any bloody bush cutting contract. The man was returning home from his personal work which he does for a living. He met this unfortunate fate just a few feet from where he lives. Instead of on here sowing evil, go give his family moral and financial support. Please let politics rest! Election is done and OVER!!

This is the kind of work that the government gives out just for reelection. Is this the People Empowerment Program-PEP,similar to that of one our neighboring islands. These kind of jobs are only available until the govt is r elected and soon after election they are not available. The people need to be empowered. Proper landscaping attachments to harness their skills so that they can be properly be employed or be self employed. Our youths need jobs and proper ones at that

Oh my goodness. The dunceheads will not inherit the earth! As most West End people know, Mr. Cameron faithfully maintains his family's property on Zion Hill. We are always mindful of him working on the edge of the property close to the road and proceed with caution so not to facilitate exactly what happened today. All I can say to the previous posters is you are dunceheads!

How the hell you hit a man cutting bush? In broad day light? Unless you are drunk. Texting, or simply not paying attention!! Smh.

This is a longtime post but the truth is if this driver is a tourist nothing will become of this case unless you have some faithful police who is prepared to do the proper Case file. Trust my word for it
