Believe it or not. Agree with me or not, but none of us can' prove the above statement false.
I am happy to hear that no one was killed in the shootout. I hope that all needed information will be quickly known by our law enforcement team, and that the guilty ones or one will be punished accordingly.
Righteous behaviour is the strongest stableliser that causes peace. War is the consequences of selfish ambitions among people of all communities.
    .
Please note. Some political inactions not taken, and some actions that were taken, over the years, that did not considered the just and rightful needs of all members of our community members have contributed to some of these random shootings, in one way or the other.
My personal honest opinion has been rightfully been expressed. Respect.

Hearing conversations among young ppl here would tell you their mindset. Any arguments they are in you would hear them saying about killing or shooting I'm not sure if they are serious with their words or its just talk but it's like this is in their mind. And they always using a set of indecent languages in every word that come out of their mouth.

All because they have guns they don't/have never use. So the simpliest thing is to kill & shoot up. The music & movies is like poison to their little undeveloped minds

On this little place there is no need for gun. There’s nothing to rob except coke probably and if you don’t like a man stay away from them. Legalize weed and do more stop & search for the fire arms.

Law abiding citizens of the BVI, always be aware of your surroundings. If the street gangsters that think they are so powerful behind a gun and spraying up each other vehicle to prove some type of point or status in their pea size brains, let them kill each other off. They will be doing socially a huge favor. Huge expense on their families and more money to Davis.

Let them all kill each other off. No more mercy or pity. They don’t care, so why should we. Sick of these street gangsters or whatever they call themselves out here disturbing and reeking havoc and fear on society. Just stay out of their way and let them gun each other down.

What do you mean really? Don’t you understand what stay out of the gangsters way mean? It also mean be aware of your surrounds at all times. Come on now, Tortola is only but so big. Those little gangster boys have a certain look like they are always up to something or looking for something. I see them, I go the other way.

That is a very poor way to look at it because a lot of highly esteemed people who thought they were raising saints never knew they were raising gangsters until they get killed and the stories begin to unfold. Instead you should pray that 1. They start working legally for what they want 2. Stop being house slaves for the big drug lords 3. That God have mercy on this nation because every time blood is spilled out by violence, it creates a circle that is coming back around

Some persons thought and said it's the UK's fault.
Others said it is former governor Jasper's fault.
Others said, no, it them Christian fanatics fault.
Others said, you stupid or what? Don't you know since the UK sent the CoI here in an attempted to help curb corruption all hell has broken loose in our country?
Others countered and said, it the police mostly should be blamed for the rised in shootin case nowadays.
While others said, it the dishonest practice of political leaders fault.
Others argued, it's the crooked pastors fault. The crooked pastors responded, had more church attendance gave bigger offering I would have been able to pray the devil away.
Then the gun shooters said, if those pigs police approached me, I will gave them a closeup view of my various gun barrels
Others said, nope, you all said it wrong, we only pushed the drugs, but many that craved for it, paid for it, and have used it the main problem of all.
Then one person said, I know whose at fault for all our shooting spikes. Another person asked, who is? He answered, God is.
Then God spoke and said, all of your problems is based on your own selfish ways. He went on and said, who dare can proved Me wrong? Can the devil and you do? No and never forever.
Note: gun as dangerous tools. An evil mindset is most dangerous of all.

These little gangsters is nothing more than low level street punks. You have beef with someone, beat the heck out of each other with your fists and call it a day. But no, all they know how to pull a gun because a gun makes them feel powerful. Pure stupidity. Sick and tired of them disturbing people sense of peace and quality of ll bing your life in peace. I will say it also, let them kill each other off one by one.You want to be gangster, you either going to prison or six feet under as worm food and pushing up daisies. They don’t seem to care about the stress that they put their families through so why should anyone care.We law abiding citizens just want our peace back from these MENECE OF SOCIETY.
    • Good Advisor @ Sick of them. (22/08/2021, 04:36) Like (2) Dislike (1) Reply
No! It is not a good idea to let them kill each other off.
Let us together continue trying to save our seed, God being our true source of help. Remember or don't forget, which everyone is applicable to you, that "IT IS NOT IN MAN THAT WALK TO DIRECT HIS STEPS."
Most of us think, believe, and act as if we can. No wonder we have been burdened, and are being burden with so many problems.
The Bible says that "there is no peace for the wicked."
God only is the source of true. Man offer cease fire, but God offers please of mind. Read Psalms 91.

The BVI is learning what many of us in the US have known for some time now, which is that if you outlaw guns, only outlaws will have guns. It amazes me how so many here are against LAW ABIDING PEOPLE being licensed to have guns for their personal protection.

In my state (Vermont) EVERYONE has a gun (same in New Hampshire, and Maine) and there is virtually no gun violence. Why? Because the gun owners are LAW ABIDING PEOPLE. The BVI and Europeans in general refuse to recognize the difference between LAW ABIDING gun owners and CRIMINALS WHO OWN GUNS, and it's stupid. US cities with the strictest gun laws have the highest rates of gun violence - why? Because the CRIMINALS WHO OWN GUNS don't care about the gun laws, and also know that the LAW ABIDING PEOPLE will be unarmed and they can therefore prey on them.

This phenomenon happens EVERYWHERE that the government refuses to distinguish between LAW ABIDING CITIZENS and CRIMINALS WHO OWN GUNS, and it will accelerate here unless and until LAW ABIDING CITIZENS are allowed to own guns for personal protection. The right to defend oneself is the most basic of all human rights, but so many people are foolishly willing to abdicate that right to a government that clearly cannot effectively protect them.

Finally, what is the average sentence given out to a criminal who commits a gun crime in the BVI? I don't know the answer but I'm willing to bet that it's a slap on the wrist.
