MANGO BAY, Virgin Gorda, VI- The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) has confirmed the male body found on Virgin Gorda on Sunday, June 8, 2025, as that of Zan Zettel Jr.

Zettle Jr., 31, was a long-time resident of Nail Bay, Virgin Gorda. 

Police, in a press statement yesterday, June 11, 2025, said Zettle Jr. was reported missing in the early hours of June 8, 2025, after being last seen around midnight at Blue House Bar on Virgin Gorda. 

“A coordinated search was initiated, which later led to the discovery of his body after 9 AM,” the RVIPF added.

Investigations into his death are ongoing, and police have urged anyone with any information to contact the RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 284-268-9339 or anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 800-8477.

The RVIPF also expressed condolences to the bereaved family.

Body suspected to be of missing man found on VG

MANGO BAY, Virgin Gorda, VI- Information reaching our News Centre is that a body suspected to be of a man reported missing on Virgin Gorda has been found.

The body of the man was reportedly discovered in the area known as Mango Bay.

It is believed the man fell off the roadside and may have suffered fatal injuries.

Our News Centre will withhold the name of the individual at this time.

Police have not yet responded to our request for information.

It was only on Friday, June 6, 2025, that the body of 47-year-old Vincent Warner of Tortola was discovered in waters behind Maria's by the Sea.
