PURCELL ESTATE, Tortola, VI - Our newsroom conducted our own investigation and spoke to Hospital and National Security Officials, on the incident this evening Wednesday, August 15, 2018, where it was alleged that a man attempted suicide.

Our investigation however, turned up something different.

The man in question did not drink any potentially fatal/poisonous substance.

He has since been identified as Rick C. Scott, of St Vincent and the Grenadines.

Our information confirms that Mr Scott was in fact, hit to his side and stomach by a vehicle.

This resulted in his stomach pain.

When he arrived at the hospital after the Police called the Ambulance, the man explained to the staff what had happened and refused medical attention, and was discharged.

It is unclear, if the accident was a hit and run.

If it was a hit and run, why refuse medical assistance? He could have internal bleeding and damage. If it was that, the police need to be notified someone left him there to die.
