Missing since LAST WEEK and only now it’s reported to police.

School was last week. When a child is not in attendance, if not already it should be a rule that the parent/guardian notifies the school and if the school hears nothing contact the parent/guardian until official word about the child is known.

If nothing is heard, contact the relevant authorities.

If you dont know what went on please stop talk. The parents did all the correct things.

Nothing here is correct about a child not reported as missing a whole week after so stop defend nonsense because you know them.

@ Listen, If that is true the parents did the right thing, why is it now just published so the entire place can keep a lookout for her? My child would have been in the paper the same day. No, we don't know what went on, but still, she is a minor and the public should be on the lookout for her.

Unless you got the links to people in high places you forget BVI (and Caribbean) people does move slow so reporting often late? You must also remember when someone is believed to be missing there is a certain amount of time that needs to pass since last sighting (which varies everywhere) before the authorities will act.

You DO NOT need the police to post on Social Media that a child is missing so YES IT IS FOOLISHNESS.

Too many posting rubbish instead of what’s important.

Even when a dog is missing, the owner posts it the same day. Where are her parents and relatives not to have posted this the same day she was missing? Totally unacceptable. I'm very angry and hope she is found and safe.

Ever travelled abroad and see an “Amber Alert” or other type of alert sign flashing on the highway or posters of missing children?

The relevant authorities could have been alerted so as to inform us immediately so we would recognize her if we saw her.

You see those digital Advertisement Screens on the highway and by Skelton Warehouse…her photo could have been displayed there instantly.

You take her in since you think you know the facts, and when she does what she do to you, tell us if u deserve those lovely kids. In the mean time hush your mouth if you don't know the facts. All who close to her know exactly what going on.

I am at a loss as to how Immigration allowed those kids to come live here from Jamaica. This was always asking for trouble. Don't they screen these people applying for their children to reside? Guess they have friends at Immigration.

God answers prayers. Suffer the little children.... All the hard back and dysfunctional family and broken social services and school dropped the ball on this child
Tortola was a place safe for children. We'll like to keep it that way
    Live and let live

But on a serious note right. Tola don't do kidnap kids at all. School is on break and she probably went at her friends houses and tell them that her parents know her where about.

Thankful that she is safe and sound.

The trend with the missing reports is to send out the alert when the person has been located just as formality when they already know where the person is. Was going post last night that we will hear she is found by morning.
