I totally agree with Tola! I was at the show and is no way that St.kitts should have gotten this crown. USVI captured that hands down. Kaymce, you did an excellent job!

It happens every year at this show and the organizers are not shy about letting all other delegates that they will make sure st.kitts win.... It has become a serious disgrace each year they cheat USVI particularly every year

That's one of the main reasons St Thomas stop sending their queen to Antigua for the Jaycees queen competition. Those dawn host countries cheat to dam much. Every year the same dam thing St Kitts winning, give me a dam break.

Chet, Cheat, Cheat..I was over there and went to the show..It's the same thing they did when they use to host Miss Caribbean Tourisim..Why encourage other to participate knowing you are going to give your own the crown? This is nonsense with these Caribbean countries. Kepp your crown man and stop making others spend money and work hard to get nothing when they deserve something. Nonsense!!!

Really people? St.Kitts deserved the crown last year and the year before and IT WAS QUITE OBVIOUS!
There's something called a CRITERIA! Learn more about it if you desire to critique any show and question why a certain individual or country won it.

This is not a fair statement to say every year the crown stay in st.kitts. Numerous of times the crown go out of St.kitts. The young lady worked hard for the crown and should be rewarded for her hard work and dedication. Every show kept not only in St.kitts, one will say judges cheat. You just cannot please people.
Miss St.Kitts won and in my opinion she deserves the crown.Better luck next time.

I am from the Tortola and I thought that Miss st. kitts won the show. I am usually in St. Kitts for carnival and attend the show every year. It is one of those shows I enjoy. Miss St. Kitts did not have any particularly weak areas. I thought that Miss USVI did not have a strong speech and I thought that was the segment where she fell. As a dancer, I expected more from her in the Production Number as well but she did not deliver. That is worth 10 points. Miss Anguilla played it too safe in talent. Nothing outstanding. I liked Grenada too. She was consistently average. I had Miss St. Kitts in the Top 2 or Top 3 for every segment. Prior to 2008, St. Kitts has not won the pageant in 10 years and the USVI and Cuba constantly took the crown. The last few queens from St. Kitts were deserving.

Miss BVI but she was a little out of key and pitchy at times in her talent. She has potential as a singer but for a competition, she should have trained her voice a little more and work on transitions from key to key and manage her runs and pitch. Her gown was too simple and she carried it just okay. Nothing spectacular. She was okay in the production but didn't stand out. Miss St. Kitts has a great stage persona. I went to their local talented teen pageant and I must say, there will be another strong St. Kitts contestant coming next year. Look out. I just hope our BVI girl comes hard next year. St. Kitts has been doing well in pageants around the caribbean lately, not only in their own country.

    Just an unbiased BVI opinion.
