LONG LOOK, Tortola, VI- With next of kin adequately notified, our news centre can now disclose that the man shot and killed in Long Look on Sunday, April 30, 2023, has been identified as Kemo A. Lettsome.

Reports are Lettsome was shot multiple times while in the vicinity of The Stickit around 6:30 PM.

Police have also confirmed the killing.

“Police can confirm the fatal wounding of a male following a shooting near the Stickett in Long Look this evening. Several RVIPF teams are at the scene at this time. No further information can be released at this time,” Police Media Liaison Diane L. Drayton stated last evening.

A man has been shot dead in Long Look on the eastern end of Tortola.

According to reports reaching our news centre, the fatal shooting incident took place around 6:30 PM today, April 30, 2023.

Our news centre knows the name of the deceased but will withhold publishing at this time.

More details will be provided as information comes in.

    this the only place the police don't give details of what happened. Was it a drive-by, an argument, in a crowd. Was there a vehicle involved to ask people to remember if they saw it heading from the area? not a blumming thing. No immediate alert for persons to be on the lookout for XYZ. Then they asking you if you have more information to let them know.

    Look on Saturday night there was a shooting in St Thomas and they caught the person in no time. Why all of ours have to go down unsolved. Isn't all police and investigative training similar? Some things just need basic common sense to put pieces together. BVI is just a unreal place
