UPDATE: LIME supports Nations Cup!
On Friday April 5, 2013 LIME, through its 4G network, offered persons topping up with $20 1 gigabyte of free data. Persons topping up with $30 received a free dongle while persons purchasing any smart phone received special offers.
Marketing Manager of LIME, Janette Brin said the company was very excited about the Nations Cup and congratulated the teams taking part. The countries to be represented are Jamaica, St. Vincent, St. Lucia, Virgin Islands and Guyana.
Ms Brin noted that the Virgin Islands consists of persons from all parts of the world and was pleased with the countries be represented in the LIME sponsored Play to Win Nations Cup.
The Marketing Manager also said LIME would be having lots of offers and giveaways on the day of the tournament.
Tickets for the knock out tournament are available at the LIME store in Road Town.
The Play to Win Nations Cup has been organised by Play to Win sports store in collaboration with Mr Alex Green and Mr Marc Savage and will be played on a knock out basis with games going for a duration of 50 minutes except for the final, which will be played over 90 minutes.
The Nations Cup was birthed in Virgin Gorda where it was popular but after not being held for some two years, sports organisors on Tortola have decided to try to revive it.

Revived Nations Cup for April 14
- Knock out tournament to launch tomorrow, March 21, 2013
Players representing countries such as Jamaica, St Lucia, Haiti and Guyana will be battling it out for the winner takes all cash prizes and bragging rights at stake when the Nations Cup is held on April 14, 2013 at A.O. Shirley ground.
The tournament has been organised by Play to Win sports store in collaboration with Mr Alex Green and Mr Marc Savage and will be played on a knock out basis with games going for a duration of 50 minutes except for the final, which will be played over 90 minutes.
According to the organisors, some seven teams have been confirmed while persons from Grenada and Dominica are also seeking to field teams.
The countries confirmed to be represented so far are Virgin Islands (including USVI), Guyana, Jamaica, St. Vincent and the Grenadines, England, Haiti and St. Lucia
Deadline for Registration is Monday March 25, 2013.
The tournament will be launched on Thursday, March 21, 2013 at the office of the BVI Football Association. Each team is asked to send along a representative.
