When you're out having fun and jumping into the sea while others are in the water, be careful and always make sure the area is clear first before jumping. Poor kid, I hope he's okay and he recovers soon.

I pray that he will have a speedy recovery. I would advise all persons using our beaches for recreation, to exercise extreme caution to minimize risk of injury, and maintain safety.

Real Macoy, you are right on point here, sometimes it makes you wonder, where are the priorities of government after government. No body should have to tell them that those two islands needs a fully staff mini hospital. Sometimes the things they waste on makes you go Wow!

@outlaws the priorities of mixed up and encourage by the people of the Virgin Islands. Just look at the turn out for the $250k taxpayers wasted money event. No one besides the artists fly into purposely for the show. The Government is the Government. I no longer blame them I’m blaming the people who have mixed up priorities even if it’s resulted in spending tax money on poppy showiness

Our Government's priorities are in the wrong place. $250 could build a small one-story medical building on the island. That much was paid to build a bathroom, remember? WTH is wrong with our leaders? So we are shown that shitting and partying are more important than our medical needs. They have absolutely NO SHAME WHAT-SO-EVER! Something must be done and addressed right now!

What exactly are you talking about? You are way off base. A 14 year old was seriously hurt, wish the best for him and stop talking foolishness. Where does lottery and paying pastor rent every Sunday have to do with anything?

Dear GOD, hold him in your loving arms that he will be alright, Amen. There should be a medical center on all islands with a Doctor and Nurse. This is ridiculous that a patient has to be taken to Tortola, which might be the patient's undoing if only they had been attended to much sooner. This is 2023 and we are living like a third-world country. Unbelievable!

God has intervened more than once yet people remain ignorant. This happens on the day the r*tard#d premier holding non stop party to so call bring in more tourists. I want the tourists to know that they are unsafe in these islands. There is no care on the sister islands to help them if they are hurt and there is not proper care on the main island either. We have a leader who does not care about the people's well being, do you think he cares about yours? I pray for the recovery and healing of the young teen. Proud to know he went over as a guest speaker. This is inspiring. To the family, may you receive the comfort and support you need in order to be a comfort and support to him also.

People of the BVI wake up and pay serious attention to what is happening and how we are being treated by the powers that be. Campaign after campaign every four years the sister islands will be mentioned (to get your votes); but as soon as they are elected to office they forget all about the sister islands. How many more times must it be said that each of the sister islands need proper medical facilities to take care of the sick? The money that was spent for the nonstop concert could have been used to build these facilities but the premier and his controversial crew just don’t care. Thanks to all who assisted in saving this teenager life and let us all rise to the challenge and give both prayerful and financial support to assist. Wishing him a speedy recovery. “ With God all things are possible.”

@ All you people who comment with even looking at the real source who run this world and you will NEVER see who they are(secret society). Ask the question why does it not have Life guards on all beaches that are owned the the wicked government. I said wicked because you all All sold out us the people for money. Dumb people ask your government why do they read scripts and don't do what they promise towould do. The go to work just like you. They have a boss who call all the shots and it's the ELITES. Wake up and learn who run this devil's Earth. Remember they teach you that we're living in hell. It's not just a saying it's facts. Ask you government why have their lifestyle looking expensive while the school system looks very very poor here while all politicians send their kids away for a better education while you can't afford it for your child. You all are dumb for voting knowing that you can see that all parties lie, steal, deceive and so absolutely nothing that benifits we the people. All politicians are gay because when you sell your soul that how you have to live so wake up. Look how everything it LGBTQ and transgender

This is really unfortunate and sad. I am praying for a miracle of healing and recovery for this young man. I am praying for strength and faith for his parents and family. No one knows when emergencies may occur, we plan for many things in life. Let's plan for emergencies too! They are a part of life and often interrupt/disrupt life itself. A MASA ASSIST plan would have been such an amazing help to this young man and his family now. The.clock is.ticking and the longer they take to get him off island to the care he desperately needs...the less his chances are. Donate if you can BUT protect yourself and your family with a MASA ASSIST MEMBERSHIP TODAY! Www.masaassist.com ( a lady bynthe name of Aramina Woodside is the manager) This is not an commercial, I.am.a member and I have family members and friends who have used this service and are.alive.and well today.

When the politicians come to voters with their own tax money as hand outs, REFUSE IT! Here is a clear instance of where all those individual hand outs to your community could have been put together for what is urgently needed now!. Think about this and see if I'm wrong!! "PEOPLE WITH NO VISION MUST PERISH "!

This is very unfortunate. I hope the community will be able to band together to support the family, in whatever way they can as they seek further treatment for Elijah. May God continue to uplift them as they begin this journey to recovery.
