The crowning of the new Angel of Christmas is just a few days away. Four female students will vie for the title while three male students are competing to become the very first male Angel of Christmas on Sunday, December 14, at the Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium.

PARAQUITA BAY, Tortola, VI- J’Nya K. Barnes and Osmarly Browne were crowned Princess and Prince of Christmas, respectively, when the Angel of Christmas pageant was held on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium, H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) campus, in Paraquita Bay.

Awards

JBarnes captured awards for Best Introduction, Miss Photogenic, Miss Popularity, Best Christmas Character Wear, Best Talent and Best Christmas Wear, in route to taking the Princess of Christmas crown.

Brianna Bryan was awarded Miss Intellect.

The other contestant in the Princess of Christmas category was Amia Calliste.

Browne received awards for Best Introduction, Mister Intellect, Mister Popularity, Best Christmas Character Wear, Best Talent and Best Christmas Wear.

Akeem Hopkinson was named Mister Photogenic.

Jae’Nyiah Defreitas was crowned the first-ever Francis Lettsome Primary School (FLPS) Angel of Christmas on Thursday, December 12, 2024.

The Prince of Christmas segment was a new addition this year, as previously, only girls participated.

4 girls & 3 boys to contest FLPS Angel of Christmas Pageant

Four girls and three boys, all students of Francis Lettsome Primary School (FLPS) in East End, will vie for the title of Angel of Christmas on Sunday, December 14, 2025, at Eileene L. Parsons Auditorium, H. Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) campus, in Paraquita Bay.

Contestants

The female contestants for the Angel of Christmas Pageant are Amia Calliste, J’nya Barnes, Miyah Heskey, and Brianna Bryan, who will compete in five rounds during the event.

The male contestants are Osmarley Browne, Royston Francis and Akeem Hopkinson.

The show starts promptly at 3:00 PM and promises to be an unforgettable afternoon filled with holiday joy and celebration.

The event supports talent, dedication, and holiday enthusiasm

According to a Facebook post, the students have been working incredibly hard, rehearsing their lines, perfecting their songs, and preparing a heartwarming performance that captures the true spirit of Christmas. This event is a wonderful opportunity to support their talent, dedication, and holiday enthusiasm. 

Virgin Islanders are encouraged to bring their family and friends to witness this exciting showcase of young talent and cheer on "our little angels" as they shine.
